What is Remote Online Notarization?
Remote Online Notarization (RON) lets you meet with a commissioned notary over a secure, recorded video call. You present your ID digitally, sign your documents electronically, and receive a notarized PDF — all without leaving your home or office.
New York State authorised RON in 2023. As a commissioned NY notary, we are fully authorised to perform RON sessions for individuals and businesses across the state.

Common questions
Yes. New York State authorised Remote Online Notarization (RON) in 2023 under Executive Law §135-c. Documents notarized via RON carry the same legal weight as those notarized in person.
Most US states and many international jurisdictions accept RON documents. However, acceptance depends on the receiving party. We recommend confirming with the institution or country that will receive the document before booking.
RON sessions can accommodate witnesses. If your document requires a witness, please note this when booking and we will arrange for a credible witness to join the session.
Each signer must be present on the video call and must verify their own identity. You cannot sign on behalf of another person unless you hold a valid Power of Attorney, in which case that POA must also be presented.
Most sessions are completed in 15–30 minutes. Complex document sets or multiple signers may take slightly longer. We recommend joining a few minutes early to complete the identity verification steps.
